Job Selection Practices and the Organisational Performance of Brewing Firms in Nigeria

The study was on job selection practices and organisational performance of Brewing Firms in Nigeria. It investigated how employment selection practices affect the organisational performance of brewing firms in Nigeria. A survey research design was employed to examine the perspectives of employees from brewing companies. A sample of 190 full-time employees from the nominal roll of licensed brewing enterprises of two brewing firms was selected. The data collection instrument was a structured questionnaire. The hypothesis was tested using the simple linear regression analytical tool. Findings revealed that the implementation of equal employment opportunity policies had an impact on the operational outcomes of brewing companies in Nigeria. Consequently, brewing companies in Nigeria should prioritise employment opportunities in their selection process.
