data for the study. The data were analyzed using Pearson Moment Correlation

Studies curriculum in Delta State Teachers Training Colleges stemed from
inappropriate use of teaching methods, inability of social studies teachers to
implement the curriculum adequately to the understanding of the students and
teachers' inability to use good constructive questions during teaching and

good constructive questions to facilitate teaching and learning should be
practised and used by the teachers. Also, Social Studies teachers should display
