Abstract

Vhembe district is rich in legendary stories that have not been heard by many
people or recorded. Developed countries such as the UK, China, Austria and
Puerto Rico have legendary stories that have been marketed to outsiders as one of the strategies for generating income and hence contributing to the economic development of those countries. This review therefore investigated the possibility of the commercialization of Vhembe legendary stories.
