Abstract

The need for visual arts to be integrated in developing a viable and
sustainable technology in Nigeria cannot be overestimated. Tertiary
institutions have a serious role to play in this regard. Though Nigeria
aspire to develop technologically, the present approach where science
alone is recognized, as the only agent for technological development
seems faulty. This paper highlighted the value of both art and science
in technological development and recommended that both visual art
and science be utilized for the development of the nation's technology.
